Understanding the dashboard
The dashboard is your home base in hire.page. Here's what you'll find and how each section fits into your workflow.
Navigation sidebar
The left sidebar gives you access to:
- Dashboard — overview, setup checklist, and quick stats
- Jobs — all your job postings (active, draft, closed)
- Candidates — view applicants across all jobs in one place
- Analytics — traffic, applicant sources, and pipeline performance
- Settings — company info, careers page, team members, billing, and more
At the top of the sidebar, you'll see your workspace name and a switcher if you belong to multiple workspaces.
Setup checklist
New workspaces show a checklist of recommended first steps. Each item links directly to the relevant page:
- Create your workspace
- Post a draft job
- Customize your careers page
- Add your perks & benefits
- Set up a subscription
Once you've completed the steps (or decide you don't need the guidance), you can dismiss the checklist.
Job status
Jobs have three states:
- Active — published and visible to candidates on your careers page
- Draft — saved but not publicly visible; use this while writing or reviewing a job
- Closed — no longer accepting applications; removed from your public careers page but data is retained
Workspace limits
Each plan has limits on active jobs and team members. If you're approaching a limit, a warning appears in the dashboard. Your plan and current usage are always visible under Settings → Billing.
Workspace lockout
If your trial ends and no plan is active, the workspace enters a locked state. Your careers page stays live but you can't create new jobs or access Pro features. Subscribe from Settings → Billing to unlock everything immediately.
