Custom domains

On the Pro plan, you can connect your own domain so candidates visit careers.yourcompany.com instead of hire.page/your-company.

Setting up a custom domain

  1. Go to Settings → Careers Page → Advanced.
  2. Enter your desired domain (e.g., careers.yourcompany.com).
  3. In your DNS provider, add a CNAME record pointing to cname.hire.page.
  4. Return to hire.page and click Verify Domain.

DNS propagation can take up to 24 hours, but usually completes within a few minutes. Click Refresh to recheck the status.

SSL certificate

Once your domain is verified, an SSL certificate is provisioned automatically. Your careers page is served over HTTPS with no extra steps on your end.

DNS provider instructions

The setup is the same for any provider (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap, Route 53, etc.). Add a CNAME record with:

  • Name / Host: careers (or whichever subdomain you want)
  • Value / Points to: cname.hire.page
  • TTL: Auto or 3600

If you're using Cloudflare, make sure the proxy (orange cloud) is turned off — the record should be DNS-only.

Removing a custom domain

To remove your custom domain and revert to your hire.page/your-company URL, go to Settings → Careers Page → Advanced and delete the domain. Remove the CNAME record from your DNS provider as well.
