Privacy Policy.

We keep this short and honest. Here's what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Last updated: April 10, 2026.

1. Who we are

hire.page is a hiring platform that helps small teams run a branded careers page and a lightweight applicant tracking system. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, product, and any related services.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly — your name, email, company details, billing information, job posts, application content, files you upload, and anything you write to us. We also collect limited technical data automatically, including IP address, device and browser type, and how you use the product. If you apply to a job through a hire.page careers page, the employer who posted that job receives your application.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to run the product, process payments, send transactional emails (account, billing, job alerts), answer your questions, and keep the platform secure. We also use aggregated, anonymized data to improve the product and understand how it is used. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us run the platform — payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), hosting and infrastructure (Laravel Cloud), and product analytics (PostHog and Google Analytics). We also run a self-hosted instance of Umami for privacy-friendly page analytics; that data stays on our own infrastructure and is not shared with any third party. Each of our providers is bound by their own terms to protect your data and use it only to provide their service. We will also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. AI and automated features

Some features — like AI-generated job descriptions — send the text you provide to a third-party AI model to generate a response. We do not use your private pipeline, candidate, or applicant data to train any AI model. We do not train our own models on your data.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. For page analytics we run a self-hosted Umami instance (no third-party cookies, data stays on our infrastructure). For product analytics we also use PostHog and Google Analytics to understand how the product is used. We do not run third-party advertising on the site, and we do not sell your personal information.

7. Your rights and choices

You can update or delete your account from your account settings at any time. To request a copy of your data, have specific information corrected, or ask us to delete information outside of self-service, email us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time (and in any case within 30 days where the law requires it). You can opt out of marketing email any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of those messages.

8. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as you have an active account. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we are legally required to keep certain records (for example, invoices for tax purposes).

9. International transfers

Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you access the service from another country, your data will be transferred to and processed there. We rely on standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards for any transfers out of the EEA or UK.

10. Security

We use HTTPS to encrypt data in transit and rely on database-level encryption provided by our hosting infrastructure for data at rest. We run automated backups and restrict internal access to your data on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and respond quickly if something goes wrong.

11. Your rights under GDPR

If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have specific rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including access, correction, deletion, and portability. For details and how to exercise them, see our GDPR page.

12. Children

The service is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will email active customers and post a notice in the product before the changes take effect. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

14. Contact us
