Managing your hiring pipeline
The hiring pipeline is where you manage candidates from the moment they apply to the moment you hire. Each job has its own pipeline.
Board view vs table view
Switch between two views using the toggle at the top of the pipeline:
- Board view — a visual Kanban layout with columns for each stage. Great for seeing the whole picture and dragging candidates forward.
- Table view — a row-based list sorted by date applied. Better for scanning many candidates quickly or exporting data.
Pipeline stages
Every job starts with these default stages: New, Reviewing, Interviewing, Offer, and Hired. On the Pro plan, you can create custom stages for any job.
Moving candidates
In board view, drag a candidate card to a new column. In table view, open a candidate and use the stage dropdown. You can also move candidates in bulk on the Pro plan.
Moving a candidate to a stage can automatically trigger an email if you've configured stage templates — the candidate is notified without you lifting a finger.
Searching and filtering
Use the search bar to find candidates by name. Use filters to narrow by:
- Pipeline stage
- Date applied (range)
- Star rating
- Job (when viewing across all jobs)
Cross-job candidate view
The Candidates section in the sidebar shows all applicants across every job — useful for spotting candidates who may be a great fit for a different role.
