About the role
You'll move across the stack — from database to UI — without needing a handoff. We don't have specialized "frontend" and "backend" tribes; we have engineers who can take a problem from spec to production end-to-end.
You'll work on real product features that customers will use the same week.
What you'll do
- Own features end-to-end, across the stack
- Design the data model, build the API, and ship the UI in the same week
- Improve our infrastructure where it slows the team down
- Review pull requests and help others ship cleaner work
- Talk to customers when something breaks
- Help us pick the right tradeoffs, not the most elegant ones
What we're looking for
- 3+ years shipping production software with full-stack scope
- Solid grasp of relational databases and API design
- Frontend ability that goes past "wires HTML to JSON"
- More interested in shipping than choosing the perfect framework
Nice to have
- Experience with our stack
- You've owned an on-call rotation before
- A side project we can poke around in
