About the role

You'll own how our product feels — every interaction, every motion, every state. We care a lot about craft, and we're looking for someone who treats UI like a real surface, not a wrapper around an API.

This role works closely with design and product, so you should be comfortable pushing back on a spec when you can see a better path.

What you'll do

  • Build interfaces in our frontend stack alongside design and product
  • Own a major area of the product — from prototype to performance to polish
  • Write and maintain the design system, components, and shared primitives
  • Improve accessibility, performance, and motion across the app
  • Pair with backend engineers on the contract for new features
  • Set the bar for code review, testing, and the day-to-day craft of the frontend

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years writing production frontend code in a modern framework
  • A real point of view on UX and motion — not just CSS skill, but taste
  • Comfort with the full toolchain: bundlers, types, state, accessibility, perf
  • Experience working closely with designers and shipping under their eye

Nice to have

  • You've built or maintained a design system
  • You've shipped real-time or collaborative UI (presence, conflict resolution, etc.)
  • You write the occasional blog post or talk about frontend craft

What we offer

  • Salary anchored to senior frontend market rates
  • Real equity, vested over four years
  • Fully remote, with optional team off-sites
  • Hardware budget — including the monitor you actually want
  • Weeks where you ship things you're proud to demo on Friday
