About the role

You'll be the face of our community day-to-day — answering questions, sparking conversation, defusing fights, and quietly making sure new members feel welcome.

This is a role for someone who genuinely likes the internet and is good at people.

What you'll do

  • Run our community day-to-day across Discord, Slack, or wherever we live
  • Welcome and onboard new members so they feel like they belong
  • Spark conversation when channels get quiet
  • Defuse drama early — and escalate the rare thing that won't defuse
  • Run events: AMAs, office hours, weekly threads, monthly meetups
  • Bring patterns back to the team — what's working, what's churning, what's brewing

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years managing a real community on Discord, Slack, Circle, Skool, or similar
  • Strong written voice — your tone is yours, not corporate
  • Patience and a sense of humor
  • Reliable hours that overlap with our member base

Nice to have

  • You've moderated a community at scale
  • Light design or video skills for events
  • A second language

What we offer

  • Salary with a small variable on community health metrics
  • Equity from day one
  • Fully remote
  • Travel for in-person community events
  • A team that takes community as seriously as product
