About the role

You'll own a product area — the roadmap, the bets, the calls about what we ship and when. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers and designers, not above them.

We're looking for someone who's allergic to PRDs that nobody reads and would rather get on a call with a customer than fill out a Jira ticket.

What you'll do

  • Own the roadmap, priorities, and outcomes for your area
  • Spend real time with customers — not just on calls scheduled by sales
  • Write specs that engineers actually want to read
  • Make tradeoff calls between scope, quality, and timeline — and explain them
  • Set the metrics for your area and report on them honestly
  • Pair with design and engineering daily, not at handoff points

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of product management at a software company, preferably early-stage
  • Strong written communication — most of your impact will be in writing
  • A point of view about product, not just a process for arriving at one
  • Comfortable saying "I don't know yet" out loud

Nice to have

  • A background in engineering or design
  • Experience launching a product zero-to-one
  • A blog or essay archive we can read

What we offer

  • Senior-level salary plus equity
  • Fully remote with team off-sites
  • Real ownership of an area, not "support the engineering team"
  • Hardware and tools you ask for
  • A team small enough that your judgment shows up in the product
