About the role

You'll own the design of a major surface of our product. We're a small team, so you'll touch research, IA, interaction, visual, and prototyping — without being asked to specialize.

We hire designers who like to ship and have a strong point of view about the work.

What you'll do

  • Own a product area end-to-end — research through release
  • Run lightweight customer research and bring insight back to the team
  • Build flows, prototypes, and component contributions in our design system
  • Pair daily with engineers on the implementation details
  • Push back when a spec isn't right
  • Help us set the bar for design quality across the org

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of product design at a software company
  • A portfolio that shows shipped work, not concepts
  • Comfort working without a heavy design ops team around you
  • Strong written communication — much of our work happens in async docs

Nice to have

  • Experience designing for a builder or editor product
  • You've contributed to a design system, not just consumed one
  • A side project, blog, or talk we can look at

What we offer

  • Senior salary plus equity
  • Fully remote with team off-sites
  • Hardware and software on us
  • Real ownership over real surfaces
  • Time and respect for the craft
