About the role

You'll own how we get found and how we sound. That's a wide brief at our stage — content, channels, positioning, ads, partnerships — and we want someone who can pick the right two or three and run them seriously.

This isn't a role for someone who needs a five-person team to operate.

What you'll do

  • Own positioning, messaging, and the marketing site
  • Pick the channels worth our attention and go deep on them
  • Brief and direct freelancers, agencies, and contractors as we scale
  • Set up the analytics that tell us what's actually working
  • Work with product on launches, with sales on materials, with the founders on narrative
  • Be your own best writer for the first few months

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of marketing experience, at least one stint at an early-stage company
  • Strong writing — you'd rather rewrite than meet
  • Comfort with at least one paid channel and at least one organic one
  • You ship more than you strategize

Nice to have

  • Experience marketing a developer, builder, or B2B SaaS product
  • You've launched a podcast, newsletter, or publication
  • A point of view about your craft

What we offer

  • Senior salary plus meaningful equity
  • Fully remote with team off-sites
  • A marketing budget you can defend
  • A founder team that takes marketing as seriously as product
  • Wide scope — your fingerprints will be on everything
