Workspaces
A workspace is one company on hire.page. What it holds, how to switch between them, when you need more than one.
A workspace is the container for one company's hiring. It owns your hire pages, your applicants, your pipeline stages, your team members, and your billing. Everything you do on hire.page happens inside a workspace.
What a workspace contains
- Hire pages — the public job pages. Limit per plan: 1 (Free), 3 (Starter), 10 (Growth), 30 (Scale), unlimited (Enterprise).
- Applicants — every form submission across every page in this workspace. Unlimited on every plan.
- Pipeline stages — the kanban columns. Standard 5-stage pipeline by default; customize on Growth+.
- Members — teammates with access. Just you on Free; unlimited on Starter+.
- Workspace settings — name, slug (URL segment), logo, accent color, mission statement.
- Email templates — stage-transition emails. Standard on Free/Starter; editable on Growth+.
- Billing — subscription, payment method, invoices.
Workspaces are isolated. A member of one workspace can't see another. An applicant to one workspace doesn't carry over to another.
When you sign up
We create one workspace automatically using the name you choose. The slug defaults to a kebab-case version of the name and becomes the first segment of every public URL: hire.page/<workspace-slug>/<hire-page-slug>.
When to make more than one
The Free, Starter, and Growth plans each include a single workspace. The Scale plan includes five; Enterprise is unlimited. Reasons to want more than one:
- An agency hiring for multiple clients — each client gets their own workspace with isolated branding and applicants.
- A holding company with multiple brands — one workspace per brand so URLs, theming, and pipelines stay distinct.
- A clear separation between functions — e.g. one workspace for engineering, one for content — when they don't share applicant flow.
If you're a single company hiring for several roles at once, one workspace is correct — each role gets its own hire page inside it.
Switching between workspaces
If your account has more than one workspace, the switcher lives at the top of the sidebar. Click your current workspace name to open a list of all workspaces you belong to. The URL changes to the new workspace's slug immediately.
The workspace you used last is restored on your next login.
Workspace settings
From the workspace settings page you can edit:
- Name — display name shown to your team and (optionally) on public pages
- Slug — the URL segment. Changing it 301-redirects from the old slug so existing links keep working
- Logo — square image, used on public pages and OG sharing cards
- Accent color — the brand color used across all hire pages (per-page overrides exist)
- Mission statement — short blurb that can appear at the top of hire pages
For branding details, see Branding.
Deleting a workspace
Only the owner can delete a workspace. Deletion is permanent and cascades to every hire page, applicant, and message. If you're on a paid plan, cancel the subscription first — deletion does not cancel billing.
Frequently asked
Can I move a hire page between workspaces?
Not in v2. The hire page and its applicants are bound to the workspace they were created in.
Can my account belong to more than one workspace?
Yes. You can own workspaces and be invited to other people's. The switcher shows all of them.
Does each workspace have its own billing?
Yes. On Scale, your one subscription covers up to five workspaces under the same account.
What happens when I rename a workspace?
The display name updates everywhere. If you also change the slug, existing public URLs 301-redirect to the new slug.
