Plans & billing

Every plan, every limit, what each feature unlocks, and how upgrades, downgrades, invoices, and cancellations work.

hire.page has five plans: Free, Starter, Growth, Scale, and Enterprise. Annual is billed once a year and is always cheaper per month than monthly.

Free — $0

Starter — $29 / month or $290 / year

Everything in Free, plus:

  • 3 active hire pages
  • Unlimited team members
  • Unlimited stage-triggered emails
  • Custom domain — serve from your own URL
  • CSV export — download applicants as a spreadsheet

Growth — $59 / month or $590 / year

Everything in Starter, plus:

  • 10 active hire pages
  • Custom pipeline stages — rename, reorder, add, delete stages
  • Automated stage emails — auto-send a custom email when a candidate moves into any stage, editable subject + body per hire page
  • Advanced analytics — funnel, source attribution, cohort breakdowns
  • Slack integration — ping a channel on every new applicant
  • Webhooks — outbound to Zapier, Make, or your own endpoints
  • Tracking pixels — Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel
  • Custom HTML, CSS, and JS — inject your own code in head and body
  • Custom reply-to on stage emails

Scale — $119 / month or $1,190 / year

Everything in Growth, plus:

  • 5 workspaces
  • 30 active hire pages
  • Remove "Powered by hire.page" footer
  • Priority email support

Enterprise — custom

Everything in Scale, plus:

  • Unlimited workspaces
  • Unlimited active hire pages
  • Custom contract and DPA
  • SSO / SAML
  • Talk to sales

Choosing a plan

A rough decision tree:

  • Just trying it out, or hiring once a year? — Free
  • Solo founder making 1–3 hires? — Starter
  • Hiring regularly with a small team? — Growth (most common)
  • Agency or holding company with multiple brands? — Scale
  • Enterprise compliance, SSO, or custom contract? — Contact sales

Upgrades

Settings → Billing → Change plan. Pick the new plan, pick monthly or annual, confirm.

  • Free → paid — you're charged immediately for the first period. New features unlock right away.
  • Paid → higher paid — we prorate. You pay the difference for the rest of the current period, then renew at the new plan price next cycle.

Limits raise immediately. If you're on Starter with 3 published pages and you upgrade to Growth, you can immediately publish a 4th page.

Downgrades

  • Paid → Free — takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We never pull access mid-paid-period.
  • Higher paid → lower paid — same; switch at next renewal.

If you're over the new plan's limits when the downgrade takes effect (e.g. 5 active pages on Growth → 3 on Starter), we don't auto-delete anything. We email you 14 days before and again at the end. You have 30 days to close pages voluntarily; after that we close the oldest active pages until you're under the limit. Applicants and page content stay intact.

You're not refunded for time remaining on a higher tier — the higher-tier access just stays on through end-of-period.

Cancellation

Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. We don't bury this in support contact. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep paid features through then.

Cancelling does not delete your workspace, applicants, or hire pages — it switches you to Free at end-of-period. To fully delete, see Data, privacy & account.

Invoices and receipts

Every charge generates an invoice emailed to the workspace owner and accessible at Settings → Billing → Invoices. Each invoice includes:

  • Workspace name (as the bill-to)
  • Plan and billing period
  • Subtotal, tax, total
  • Payment method on file (last 4 of card)
  • Invoice number

For VAT/tax purposes, you can add your tax/VAT ID in Settings → Billing → Billing details and we'll include it on future invoices.

Payment methods

We accept any major credit/debit card via Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay work on supported devices. ACH and wire are available on Enterprise contracts.

Failed payments

If a charge fails (expired card, insufficient funds):

  1. We retry 3 times over 7 days
  2. We email the workspace owner after each failure
  3. If all retries fail, the subscription is downgraded to Free at end-of-period

Updating your card before the final retry fixes it instantly. Settings → Billing → Payment method → Update.

Frequently asked

Is there a free trial?

The Free plan is the trial — no time limit, no card. Use it as long as you like.

Can I get a refund?

We refund within 14 days of a charge, no questions asked. After 14 days, on a case-by-case basis. Email support.

Do you offer discounts for non-profits or education?

Yes — email support with proof and we'll set up a custom discount.

What payment processor do you use?

Stripe. Your card details are never stored on hire.page — they live in Stripe; we only hold a customer token.

Can I pay annually for one plan and monthly for another in the same account?

No. One subscription per workspace, one billing cadence at a time. You can switch monthly ↔ annual on Settings → Billing.
