Getting started

hire.page is a hiring page builder with a built-in applicant pipeline. You write a job like a doc, publish a public page candidates apply on, and every application lands in a kanban board you can move through stages.

This guide takes you from sign-up to your first live page in about five minutes.

What you'll end up with

A public URL of the form hire.page/your-workspace/your-page that anyone with the link can apply on. Every application becomes a card in your workspace kanban with the candidate's answers and any uploaded files attached.

The five-minute flow

1. Sign up at hire.page/register. You can use Google or an email and password. No credit card required — the Free plan stays free.
2. Pick a workspace name. This becomes the first segment of your public URL. Use your company name, your handle, or your project name.
3. Create a hire page. From the workspace dashboard, click New hire page. Give it a title, pick an icon, and you're in the editor.
4. Write the role. Use the block editor — type / to open the block menu, or paste an existing job description.
5. Build the application form. Switch to the Form tab and add the questions you actually want answered.
6. Publish. Top right of the editor. Your page is now live at its public URL.

That's it. New applications appear in Applicants in real time, sorted into your pipeline stages.

What to do when applications arrive

Open Applicants in the sidebar. You'll see a kanban with one card per applicant in the leftmost column. Click any card to open the detail panel — full answers, files, comments, reviews — and use the stage buttons to move them forward.

Stage moves can fire automatic emails (see Email templates), so the candidate hears back without you writing the same message twice.

What's free, what's not

The Free plan is enough to run one open role end-to-end. If you want a second active page, custom domain, CSV export, custom pipeline stages, or advanced analytics, you're on the Starter or Growth plan.

You can keep an unlimited number of closed and archived pages on Free — the limit is on active (published) pages.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Free is free forever — no card required, no trial countdown.

Can candidates apply without an account?

Yes. Public hire pages are open to the world — applicants don't sign up, they just fill the form.

Can I import candidates from a spreadsheet?

Not in v2. CSV export is on Starter+; bulk import isn't supported yet.

What languages does the form support?

English UI today. The form accepts any Unicode input, so candidates can answer in any language.
